Rubin-, fast Granatroter Wein, in der Nase typisches und kräftiges Aroma, trockener, warmer, leicht saurer, dichter, harmonisch, andauernder Geschmack.

Der Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino ist ein Wein in einer intensiven und kräftigen rubinroten Erscheinung. Die Nase trifft sofort auf eine vollreife Frucht von Kirsche, Brombeere und Blaubeere. Feine Würze, mineralische Nuancen, Lakritz, florale Anklänge und balsamische Noten komplettieren das Bukett. Am Gaumen ist der Wein vollmundig und ausgewogen. Er frisch, saftig und elegant. Seine Tannine präsentieren sich geschmeidig, reif und gut integriert. Der Sangiovese überzeugt in Dichte, Struktur und Länge. Er hat ein großes Alterungspotenzial, ist aber schon jetzt angenehm zu trinken.

Leuchtendes Rubinrot, funkelnd. (...) Nase nach satten Kirschen, feinem Edelholz und Erde, dezente Blutorange im Nachhall, weißer Pfeffer, nach etwas Zeit deutlich nach Salbei. Am Gaumen mit schöner Saftigkeit und Klarheit, zeigt feine Kirschfrucht, energiereicher Nerv, druckvoll, lang.

Really delicious fruit with cherry and berry character, as well as a hint of cedar. Creamy tannins and fresh acidity. Grapes from the Cerretalto vineyard are used here this year. Drink or hold.

The Casanova di Neri 2020 Brunello di Montalcino (with the white label) represents a departure from the norm. Because the Cerretalto was not produced, fruit from that vineyard with its reddish mineral-rich soils was directed here instead. For that reason, this wine is especially spicy, lifted and intense. Dark cherry fruit is followed by rusty nail, black pepper and milled spice. The wine is fermented in steel tanks, sees 20 days of skin maceration and ages in botte and tonneaux for over three years. The oak is very well integrated. This is a wine of character (with 98,000 bottles made).
